Queen's Day & Observation

Everyone in Thailand is celebrating the birthday of the Queen or also known as Mother's Day Celebration. Mengraimaharaj Witthayakhom School celebrated it with a decent flow of program. The students prepared a dance number and some performances not just for the Queen but also for all the teachers who served as their second mother/parent.

At that time also, we are introduced by the School Director Mr. Pramot Nopphawong to the entire facuty and staff and students of Mengrai as SEA-Teacher from Philippines.

I actualy introduced myself in their language with my Thai given name: "Kunya" that my teachers in Science Department gave me and its kinda embarrasing to say it but I got to.

It is me beside Mr. Pramot, the school director and the other student-teacher from PSU.

After the morning activity of the school. We went back to classroom observations. This time I got to observe Teacher Took. And I noticed a very good point in her teaching. She used a lecture –demonstration method by students from abroad (we exchange students) as a visual presentation to start her class. She also uses differentiated assignment and homework to cater the need of improvement if there is for her students.

I had a chance also to observe Teacher Nuni this afternoon at 2:30pm-3:40pm in her Grade 7 students with their topic Respiratory System. The students are very attentive in the class specially that she used Multi-media presentations and videos. She also used the cooperative learning inside the class.

During teacher nuni's class. About respiratory system.
